Putt your best foot forward and take a relaxing Saturday drive out to the McLeish Estate Golf Classic Cup, this year being held on 22 June at The Vintage Golf Club in aid of Camp Quality.
Now in its 16th year, the four person Ambrose tournament will not only offer a great day on the Greg Norman-designed course but the chance to sample some of the McLeish Estate team’s favourite wines at each of the 18 holes.
“I always look forward to the Classic,” Jessica McLeish said.
“I wouldn’t say golf is one of my strengths, but it’s a beautiful day out in the sun and having our wine tastings along the way really tops it off.”
The relaxed format wouldn’t be complete without prizes for the longest drive, the nearest to the pin, putting or the best dressed team.
The best part, however, is that all the fun will benefit Camp Quality, an Australian charity which supports children impacted by cancer, whether it be their own diagnosis or the diagnosis of someone they love.
It’s also all the more reason to carry the frivolity into the night. A presentation wine dinner will be held back at McLeish Estate and will feature a buffet meal and dessert, with wine pairing and a silent auction, which will combine with the proceeds of the day’s ticket and wine sales to be donated to Camp Quality.
Additionally, there will be a range of guest speakers including AAA rated PGA member Keiran McMahon as the evening’s emcee.
