Bob's father immigrates to Australia, marries and continues to encourage his sons into playing bagpipes.
1967
Bob and his brother Don played in St Mary's Pipe Band and won the Australian Pipe Band Championships for piping
1985
Bob and Maryanne purchased the 16 hectare property on DeBeyers Road in March 1985. Later that year in November the couple marry in Newcastle.
1985
Bob and Maryanne first attempt to work with the old vineyard established by the Tulloch family. Eventually the decision was made to re- establish the vineyard by sourcing rootling's from the state nursery in Mildura. These rootlings where used to plant Semillon and Chardonnay in Block 1, 2 and 4.
1987
An onsite nursery was established by the family. Rootlings in the nursery were used to plant Block 3 that we propogated for Semillon.
1990
The famous McLeish Semillon is bottled for the first time.
Cellar Door on De Beyers Road opens to the public
1992
McLeish Wines first start to appear under own label. Previously a large portion of fruit was sold to companies such as Brokenwood.
1997
The 'Jessica's' Botrytis Semillon is launched.
2000
Semillon 1998 wins first trophy at the NSW Small Winemakers Show - Best Dry White Wine of Show
2005
Wine Partners Club is established
2008
Jessica joins the family business at 18 years of age.
2012
The Dwyer Rosé is launched.

McLeish Semillon awarded the Trophy for World's Best Semillon at the London International Wine Challenge.
