McLeish Estate cellar door invites wine lovers and foodies to indulge in a long weekend of exceptional wines and gourmet seafood pairings, this Easter, set against the stunning vineyard & mountain backdrop.
From Friday, 18th of April to Monday, 21st April 2024, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy the estate’s finest Semillon alongside paired seafood in two wine flights that will be avaliable.
Easter Weekend Wine Flights
Good Friday – “Semillon & Sushi” Tasting Plate & Wine Flight
Kick off the long weekend with the perfect pairing of fresh sushi and world- class Semillon. This wine flight features six wines from the classic McLeish Semillon, blends and delicious alternative styles.
Semillon & Oysters – Available All Weekend – Featuring the 18 year old Cellar Reserve Semillon 2007
Throughout the long weekend, indulge in the perfect pairing of freshly shucked oysters with the winery’s acclaimed Semillon, enhancing the ocean-fresh flavours with the wine’s delicate structure and ageing potential. This wine flight features four wines, starting with the ULTIMATE vertical tasting with the 2007 Cellar Reserve Semillon and 2024 Estate Semillon, followed by classic Semillon blends.
Rare Cellar Tasting of The Iconic 2007 Cellar Reserve Semillon
For the first time in years, McLeish Estate will offer a rare tasting of the internationally acclaimed and most awarded 2007 Cellar Reserve Semillon. Grown from the estate’s historic old-vine vineyard, this exceptional wine has been awarded at the London International Wine Challenge as the Best International Semillon three times, with over 30 trophies and 28 gold awards cementing its status as one of the world’s finest examples of aged Semillon.
