Tasting Notes
This wine is a beautiful deep red with hints of a purple hue, with aromas of ripe cherries, black and blue fruits, cloves and savory spice. The palate has intense black cherry fruit, dark chocolate and complex savoury spice with the underlying toasted oak giving this wine structure with soft and silky tannins and medium body.

Vineyard
Planted in 1985 from nursery propagated cuttings, the elevated estate Shiraz vineyard sits at 236m above sea level situated on the north facing slopes of the estate.
Production
The hand harvested fruit from the estate Shiraz vineyard was cold-soaked and then fermented on skins. The wine was then matured for 10 months exclusively in premium French oak.
