Tasting Notes
This wine is a pale quartz with straw hue with crisp, zesty, fresh lemon rind and citrus fruits balanced with passionfruit and ripe peach on the nose. The palate delivers vibrant melon and the tropical fruit flavours of Sauvignon Blanc, while the citrus notes of the Semillon provide an extremely delightful depth of flavour, leading to a clean crisp finish.

Technical Notes
Vineyard
The Semillon is hand harvested from estate blocks named block 2 and block 4, then sorted and allocated based on quality. The Sauvignon Blanc is the only varietal sourced from outside of the Hunter Valley and is sourced from Orange NSW. There the vines enjoy some two degrees cooler daytime temperatures and even cooler nights allowing the grapes to develop their classic varietal characteristics.
Production
Each varietal is fermented to dryness separately before being blended together by the McLeish family, under the guidance of the winemaker. This years blend is 60% Semillon and 40% Sauvignon Blanc.
