Tasting Notes
This wine is stunning brick red with aromas of cooked black plum, dried fig, black cherries and an earthy, spicy note on the nose.

Drink now or continue to cellar for 3 - 5 years.

Technical Notes
Vineyard
In the Shiraz vineyard fruit thinning was carried out in mid January, approximately 4 weeks prior to harvest, to reduce the yeild to approx 1.7Tonne / hectare. This ensured the vines would be producing top quality fruit come harvest. The fruit was hand harvested and immediately sent to the winery for proccessing.
Production
After fermentation the wine was matured in 80% French oak and 20% American oak for 10 month prior to bottling. The bottled wine has been store in our temperature controlled cool rooms/cellar prior to its aged release.
