The traditional method sparkling commemorates the Battle of Culloden that took place on Culloden Moor (a short drive outside Inverness) on the 16th of April 1746. It was the final battle of the 1745 Jacobite Rising and the last battle to be held on British soil.
This is an Australian sparkling wine made in the traditional French style based on premium Chardonnay providing the wine with the ultimate in elegance and clarity.
Tasting Notes
Delicate pale yellow tone with persistent, fine beading. The bouquet is full of lifted melon, citrus and green apple. The palate is lively and refreshing with a creamy mousse and toasted brioche notes with a fresh, crisp and clean finish.

Technical Notes
Production
The fruit has been whole bunch pressed providing the cleanest free run juice. The base wine is fermented in refrigerated stainless steel tanks to retain the fresh fruit characters with secondary fermentation and maturation happening for 6 months in the bottle, which imparts the subtle yeast complexity.
