Tasting Notes
This wine displays impressive depth and vibrancy, with lifted aromas of ripe red cherry, plum, sweet strawberry and a hint of floral perfume. The palate is generous and fruit-driven, showcasing red currant and cherry. Delicate, well-integrated tannins provide structure and flow through to a long, elegant finish, complemented by gentle spice and complexity from fine French oak.

Drink now or cellar for 3 - 5 years.

Technical Notes
Vineyard
The Estate single vineyard Merlot was planted in 1985 on red duplex clay and sandy loam soils. The fruit is hand harvested with sorting completed in the vineyard each year.
Production
The hand harvested fruit from the estate Merlot vineyard was cold-soaked and then fermented on their skins. The wine was then matured for 10 months exclusively in premium French oak, then rested after bottling in our climate-controlled cellar prior to release.
