2015 Tri Moir


“Tri Moir” is Scottish Gaelic, it translates to “Three Excellent Companions”. The wine provides optimal balance between each of the three varietals to create an elegant, fresh, medium bodied wine style.

Tasting Notes

A blend of Shiraz (37%), Cabernet Sauvignon (34%) and Merlot (29%) this wine displays a deep purple hue the colour proceeds the richness in the taste. Whilst the palate delivers blueberry and cassis flavours, combined with earthy and dusty savoury characters derived from the elegant use of oak, provides a silky mouth feel for the fresh medium bodies 2015 Tri Moir.


The Hunter Valley experienced some early rain which delayed the start of harvest to early February. The hand harvesting process was carried out to select only the most premium fruit, therefore lower yields where seen. This meticulous selection process lead to intensity ripeness of primary fruit flavours in the 2015 vintage McLeish reds.
