Culloden NV Duke Cuvée
The McLeish Estate Sparkling Range commemorats The Battle of Culloden that took place on Culloden Moor, (a short drive outside Inverness), on 16 April 1746. It was the final battle of the 1745 Jacobite Rising and the last Battle to be held on British soil.
The sparkling is based on premium Chardonnay providing the wine with the ultimate in elegance and clarity.
All the fruit for this wine was hand picked then whole bunch pressed providing the cleanest free run juice. The sparkling underwent malolactic fermentation. Once completed the wine was blended to style and aged in the bottle before its disgorgement.
The final product is a fresh, crisp and clean sparkling.
Cuisine: Seafood Pasta or Chicken in Garlic- Almond sauce.
