The McLeish Estate single vineyard Merlot has been a cornerstone in our portfolio for over 20 years.
The focus is continually on using sensitive winemaking techniques that embody old school methods with a modern approach to production.

Colour: Bright ruby red
Aromas: The nose is dominated by rich, raspberry, blueberry and dark chocolate.
Palate: The soft, supple palate has concentrated flavours of red berries and savoury black olive flavours. A fine silky mid palate and balanced supple tannins provide a generous, refined, medium bodied Merlot that has an excellent fruit structure balanced with toasty vanilla.
Oak: 70% French Oak & 30% American Oak
Fermented on skins at 18- 20 degrees for 7 days. Matured in selected French and American oak for 12 months prior to bottling.
Cuisine: fantastic match to duck, quail or pasta dishes
